Chromatic Edge Salon

Transform your look with vibrant, lasting color.

Block coloring is an hourly service that typically requires around four hours, though the duration may vary. This technique involves applying slices of color to specific sections, such as the back, sides, or bangs. The 4 hours only includes the time necessary for lifting, bonding, and pre-toning; additional charges apply for fantasy colors, toners, and extra tints.

Block Color

Corrective service to fix hair color tone. This service requires a consultation and a deposit. A client release form is required. And bond pro  will be required for service to be done. Hourly rate depends on Stylists level. This does not include bond pro that will be extra. All clients must enter card number in order to book. Please read cancelation policy because half will be charged if canceled within 24 hours.

Color Correction 

Half head, mix of Hand painted bayalage, Foiliage (finer slices of bayalage placed in foil but off the root) teasy lights, ombré, or babylights. Working off of natural hair color with natural. This technique includes a toner, 2 scoops of lightner, a toner and a root smudge. This does not include permanent color but the root smudge does cover 70% of gray.

Partial Mix Technique 

A mix of Hand painted bayalage, Foiliage (finer slices of bayalage placed in foil but off the root) teasy lights, ombré, or babylights. Working off of natural hair color with natural. This technique includes 4 scoops of lightener, toner and a root smudge. The root smudge doesn’t include permanent color but can cover up to 70% of gray.

Love coming here! I feel so welcome and they give great recommendations on products and services without overselling. I love getting my side shave cleaned up here regularly and occasionally get my hair colored. Either way, it's a total treat.

If you are looking for someone that does short hair well, someone that knows their craft, listens to your ideas,  has talent and vision, and desires you to love your hair when you leave, call Chromatic Edge ASAP and make an appointment with Gina. She is good!
Life is too short to walk around with a Carol Brady or Dorothy Hamill haircut when you were made to rock a haircut like Pink or Jamie Lee Curtis. Do your self a favor and go to someone that knows what they are doing. The prices are more than the "Just out of Beauty School" chop shops in every strip center. Gina takes personal responsibility for listening, understanding, thinking of pros and cons, and creating a style that you love. If you are a woman with short hair, you know how valuable that is. Call and make an appointment and have a cut that is easy to style and has style too. Sorry Mrs. Brady and Ms. Hammill, the seventies were hard for fashion.

After being referred to Chromatic Edge Salon, I recently came in to have a hair cut and update my style.  Gina Ma ( the owner) is a magician with hair!  She truly cares for her clients and you can tell by the level of service and professionalism offered by Gina and the other stylists.  My hair is long and I like more of a classic look, not trendy.  After explaining that,  I pretty much gave Gena free reign with my hair.  I am so pleased with the results!  My hair looks great, is easy to style and feels so much healthier!  Thank you Chromatic Edge Salon!  I'll be back, for sure.

My stylist was Gina for a haircut service, and was recommended through a friend and I’ve been enjoying her hairstyles and since I was WAY over due Gina was there to help me! I came in with one haircut thought and ended up with one that better worked with me. Gina went step by step describing each step of the way of what to expect giving me a visual which provided me SUCH comfort each snippet of the scissors. She really took her time and I left very happy. Also, she is wonderful connecting and really getting to know you and your personality. I can’t wait to go back for my next haircut. I recommend Gina as a hairstylist! Thanks so much for being so patient each step of the way to receive my end result.

I can’t recommend this salon enough! I came in for a color correction, transitioning from blue back to blonde (naturally blonde but wanted to go lighter), and Ashley was absolutely meticulous. Not only was my blonde beautifully restored but also their skills there managed to fix a botched haircut without sacrificing any more length. Her attention to detail and skill made me feel completely at ease, and the results exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares and delivers amazing results, Ashley is the one to see! I genuinely had fun during this process!

BEST SALON!!! This place does it all and they do it so freaking good! I got my hair done by Gina and she did such an amazing job. I showed her my inspo photos and she freaking nailed it!! Gina and her team do an amazing job! This is the place to get a hair makeover. Gina is very knowledgeable and experienced in current trending hairstyles and coloring. I’m from Orange County, CA and went to San Antonio to visit my family and friends. I was complaining about my dark spots to my friend and how I tried the VI Peal and my dark spots gotten worse. She told me I gotta go see Stephanie because she’s really good at doing facial and know a lot about skin and she help her mom with her dark spots. I was kinda skeptical at first but I was desperate so I decided to make an appointment with Stephanie to see her. THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!! Stephanie was so professional and sweet. She examined my face and told me she can get rid of all my dark spots. I’m sooo happy and satisfied with the results. Mind you I’m in my late 40 and I haven’t seen my face this flawless since I was in my 20. Every where I go now I get compliments. THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!

Peyote cut my hair and they did a wonderful job! They were very thorough in explaining how to style my hair and the haircut itself is amazing. By far the best experience I've had  at a salon.

I go to Chromatic Edge Salon for Selina! She’s be the only one cutting my hair for the last two years because I would not trust anyone else with my hair! Selina is a master stylist. Always leaving me with exactly what I asked for and a stylish blowout. Selina is perfection with her shears and comb. I don’t ever want her to stop cutting hair! If you’re wanting to come to this salon I would def recommend Selina! Incredible and amazing and everything in between! Book with her!

I absolutely LOVED this salon!  I'm always a little nervous to try somewhere new but as soon as I walked in, they greeted and treated me like I have been going there for years! Super clean, super nice, so friendly. Selina made me feel very comfortable and was so patient with my indecisiveness lol. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and trying something even more fun!

Audrey gave me the best haircut of my life literally! She took her time analyzing the length and texture of my hair and recommended a certain cut so I just let her do her thing and I love it! I get so many compliments on my hair and its so easy to just shower and go now, I dont even style it except for blow drying my bangs. She cut my bangs perfectly also, I will definitely be coming back to her!

I love this place! Barbara is my hairstylist and she is amazing. She always gives me perfect haircuts and does fantastic color. She is up on all the latest hair trends and does great with short cuts and edgy styles. Through the many, many hours we have spent together in the salon she has also become a true friend. Was looking for a salon on Saturday for a haircut and a balayage, this was the first time ever I was going to a salon and was very nervous not only was my hair below my butt but was virgin hair so I had never gotten it done. I called every where and was already giving up my hopes of getting my hair done that weekend but When I called to get information Charlie was very friendly and was the only one that was willing to fit me in her schedule. She was amazing thru out the whole process they offered snacks and made me feel comfortable. The outcome was amazing,  everyone loves the new look and I'm definitely recommending chromatic edge to all my friends. Thank you so much Charlie and the whole staff for my new  look. :)

Had my hair cut by Selina at the end of October and I have never been more in love with a haircut. She was beyond friendly, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and cut the hair of my dreams! how do I even begin?! Ive been searching for my perfect salon & I was beyond wow’d! Gina popped off with this! Paid $200~ for a full transformation cut and some color deposit on pre existing blonde. Also purchased a balm to style.

Sooooo happy! Gina was positively FANTASTIC. All in we cut close to 8 inches off my hair. It feels AMAZING and looks so cute. My husband is just thrilled. The whole experience was so fun.

Gina always does a great job with my hair! I have always had long hair and the past two times I've been able to confidently walk out with a short bob and LOVE it!

I had been struggling to find a stylist who could give me a suitable cut with having the side of my head shaved and Gina accomplished what others couldn't for years!  Not only did she give me the cut of my dreams (after cutting 10 inches off!) But she also gave me an amazing tone for my blonde hair that left me leaving the salon with silky hair and a whole new personal outlook towards my appearance.  Gina saved my asthetic!! I definitely love the location. It's really relaxed they have munchies. Mainly why I go there. Lol. No I go there because Barbara does my color and I don't like anyone else doing my color. I know she takes good care of my hair so I don't worry when she needs to bleach it or do crazy things with a blow dryer. If you have not tried this place your missing out and probably damaging your hair somewhere else.

This is a great salon.  Comfortable and inviting.  Regina Ma is an amazing stylist and is willing to take risks. I loved my last hair cut and color and am going back again tomorrow to have something new done.

Bottom line!! I can tell you my personal story and hope it helps someone that may have a similar experience as I. There are so many products that promise miracles and after literally using ALL THAT IS OUT THERE OVER THE COUNTER, prescription cream, chemical peels YOU NAME IT… TRIED IT  with no results except the same disappointment.
I wanted my face to look as young as I feel and Stephie MADE THAT HAPPEN!!  She knows what she is doing and will answer all your questions. She has made me and my husband a believer ( he initially thought that it might not work, but after actually seeing it, he was very astonished at the results my dark spots had gone away in my skin was so soft and almost wrinkle free with this herbicidal peel that you can only get there at Chromatic Edge with Stephy. I invite you to go visit. I promise you won’t leave dismayed matter fact you might leave with a couple new friends, the best you’ll ever meet.!!!

Kiki at Chromatic Edge is Amazing!  She transformed my hair to exactly what I wanted. I also saw some of the other stylists work and they do an amazing job as well.

I have been getting my hair done from Gina for years! From cutting it to coloring it and everything in between. I get compliments on my hair almost everyday and and it's thanks to her. Every time I get ask where I get my hair done I always recommend them to Gina!! I also have to give a shut out to Sky who did my nails on my last visit. They look absolutely amazing and everyone loves them!
